The Top Lift / Heel Lift is the part at the end of your heel that comes in contact with the ground. It can either be in rubber or leather or a combination of both depending on the style of footwear. We carry a variety of different top lift sizes and colors.
HEIGHT SHORTENING
Do your heels fill a tad too high? Depending on the construction / style of your shoes we can shorten the heel height by 5mm to 10mm.
BROKEN HEELS
For broken stilettos or high-heeled footwear, we carry an assortment of heels that we can match with your original heels to retain the existing style.
We can fix all types of heels and if it’s not repairable we can replace the heels with a similar pair. After the heel(s) is/are replaced we would than recover them with the same or similar material/color around the heels.
HEEL REPLACEMENT
If the original design allows, we may be able to change a wide heel into a stiletto or change a stiletto into a wide heel to create a different design. Please note that feasibility depends on the original design and construction.
A protective sole is applied to extend the life of the sole and decrease slippage. Our protective soles are available in many colors. We do not simply glue the protective sole on top of the existing sole, we carefully apply it into the existing sole so that the sole guard is set firmly into the sole base. This ensures that neither the balance, nor the look of the shoes are affected.

For styles that need leather sole replacement we carry only one type: THE BEST! The leather soleing product we use on women’s and men’s footwear is imported from an exclusive European company who uses the classic traditional method of ground tanning with pure vegetable tanning agents – a process which takes 12 months to complete.
There are two options of sole repairs: full or half, which we match to conform to the original design of your footwear. Normal daily wear doesn’t always require a resoling to bring the sole back to life. The tips of your soles and outer edges of your heels are the two areas that wear out the fastest from normal wear. We can redo only the tips of the soles either in leather or rubber to coordinate with various styles/designs. The new leather or rubber tip is applied so that it is flush with the sole. If doing a rubber tip you have the option of doing a different color other than black rubber; just specify this when dropping them off or filling out our repair form.
We carry an assortment of plastic and metal taps that are applied onto the toe and/or heel. Taps are used as an added layer of protection for the tips of your soles and outer edges of your heels; the two areas that wear out the fast from normal wear. Please note that heel taps can not be applied to stiletto heels.
We clean all items made of natural and man-made materials through a variety of methods including steam cleaning, dry cleaning or water washing with water based solvents. All cleaning is done by hand.
To neutralize odors such as smoke, perfume, pets, dusky smells and more, we can employ our deodorizing methods.
Exotics including lizard, ostrich, and alligator can also be conditioned to help restore the original sheen and the look of your exotic accessories.
After the cleaning and conditioning process, all items are treated with our Nanotechnology water and stain repellent spray to further protect your items. We recommend purchasing our spray products to continue the treatment at home, as one treatment lasts for two to four weeks depending on how often the items is used.
Our Repellent provides protection to your prized leather goods based on the revolutionary Nanotechnology, allowing your item to remain breathable versus a typical waterproofing product. Our product can be applied on all kinds of leather, suede, nubuck and textile materials. This is a recommended in-home product item as one treatment lasts up to two to four weeks depending on how often the item is worn.

STRAP ALTERATIONS
A strap broke apart from your shoe? Need a strap adjusted to fit properly? Snapped elastic? Want to make straps more comfy? These are alterations we do on a daily basis.
CALF/SHAFT ALTERATIONS
If you have a pair of ankle boots that don’t fit properly, either too narrow or too large in the shaft, we can alter the shaft to accommodate your needs.
For boots with or without a zipper, we can also shorten shafts if they hit too high on the leg.
ZIPPER REPLACEMENT + INSTALLATION
We have a large stock of zippers in a variety of colors and finishes that we use to replace broken zippers, replace for a different style or color, or even add to existing boots that don’t currently have zippers. We carry zippers that current designers use on their brands.
HARDWARE
We carry an extensive collection of hardware such as buckles, d-rings, beads, ornaments, zipper pulls, locks, studs, rivets, eyelets, clasps, hooks and many more items to service needs including: hardware replacement, reattachment or customization.
PADDING + COMFORT
Is your footwear uncomfortable and too big? We can add foam or cork padding inside your footwear for a more comfortable fit and to help take up space when the item is too large in size. Padding can either be full length or just a half pad in the forefront of the footwear.
We employ a variety of machines for our stretching process and one skilled artisan who is specifically devoted to this skill. After the stretching process is complete, the leather is polished and/or conditioned; if needed.
Depending on the material and construction of your footwear, we can potentially stretch it up to a half size larger.
Note: Shoes do stretch out naturally so we recommended that you try to break them in first. If they still don’t feel comfortable, we can help with the break-in process.
TIP: Please keep in mind that anytime a shoe or boot is stretched for width, the length is also affected. So if the width is an issue and the length slightly we recommend only stretching the width. If you are not sure what needs to be done, you may show us or send us a picture of where your footwear hurts, and we’ll advise what can be done to aid in comfort.
BOOT CALF STRETCHING
Depending on the material and construction of the boot we can stretch the calf FROM .5”-3”
For calf stretching, measure the circumference of both calves around the fullest part of your legs.
TIP: If calf stretching still doesn’t solve the problem we can add a leather or elastic gore. For this procedure we would want to see you in person.
