MEN’S SOLES
The sole is the bottom part of your shoes and boots that come in direct contact with the ground. As with all parts of the shoe, soles are made from a variety of materials that are durable and resistant.
For styles that need leather sole replacement we carry only one type: THE BEST! The leather soling product we use on women’s and men’s footwear is imported from an exclusive European company who uses the classic traditional method of ground tanning with pure vegetable tanning agents – a process which takes 12 months to complete.
There are two options of sole repairs: full or half, which we match to conform to the original design of your footwear. For men’s footwear we always recommend/suggest doing a full leather sole versus a leather half sole. The leather half sole is the easier and less expensive of the two options but a full leather sole gives you more of a natural look/finish.
